The Elk County Marcellus Shale Gas Task Force, in conjunction with Cameron, Clearfield and Jefferson Counties, invites you to join us for the North Central Marcellus Gas Expo being held on Thursday, October 14th in St. Marys, PA.
Energy production is not a new industry to the North Central Region. Lumber, coal, gas and oil extraction have long been staples of the economy here. The discovery of the Marcellus Shale gas play adds another dimension to our existing industry that has the potential to enhance our economy, put local people to work and help reduce our dependency on foreign oil.
Local people, working together with industry leaders, are the key to successfully developing the Marcellus gas play. Communication and cooperation at the inception of this exciting new discovery will help to ensure that extraction of this valuable resource creates maximum benefits for everyone.
Please join us at the expo to learn more about this emerging new industry and all of the potential that exists! Large and small businesses alike can take advantage of this opportunity to mix with industry leaders to discover how your services can be utilized to support Marcellus Shale development. The gas industry welcomes and needs your involvement, but you have to let them know what you can offer! Don’t let this chance get away.
